STONE'S THROW (TO THE SEA)

The pebble beach for me, is quintessentially English.

Coming from Australia, where sand beaches are the norm, the pebbly shores in England are a true novelty.

I find whenever I visit a beach, I like to take a handful of pebbles home with me. These mementos tell a simple story of each unique place.

This book presents these stones through typologies, categorised by their characteristics.
This collection of seaside souvenirs has come from my day trips made between April 2008 – May 2010. Each trip was just a stone’s throw from London.
